The European Patients’ Forum (EPF) is an independent non-profit, non-governmental umbrella organisation of patient organisations across Europe and across disease areas. Our 79 members include disease-specific patient groups, active at EU level and national coalitions of patients. EPF works with patients’ groups in public health and health advocacy across Europe. EPF members represent specific chronic disease groups at EU level or are national coalitions of patient organisations. With over 19 years of work in the EU arena, EPF has a strong track record of successfully managing and completing complex EU-funded projects. Through consultations with a diverse membership across Europe, EPF gathers patients’ views and channels their voice to inform decision making in public health, health-related research and in the definition of innovative patterns for patient involvement.
As part of EDiHTA’s large consortium, the European Patients’ Forum will bring the patient’s perspective into each stage of the process set out by EDiHTA. EPF will contribute to the patient perspective in the definition of relevant endpoints and criteria.
