EIT Health is a community of world-leading health innovators and one of nine Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), an EU body. EIT Health activates the knowledge triangle to connect the brightest minds in business, research and education. EIT Health is uniquely placed at the centre of these disciplines, joining together a community of innovators dedicated to improving the lives of people and patients. EIT Health facilitates innovative solutions to strengthen healthcare systems, contribute to a sustainable health economy in Europe, and promote better health of citizens. Through its flagship initiatives, EIT health addresses the greatest healthcare challenges facing Europe.
EIT Health supports key project ambitions in co-designing the EDiHTA framework, with a particular view on innovators, strategic stakeholders and policymakers. Additionally, EIT Health supports piloting, validation and evaluation efforts for the co-development of the EDiHTA framework, in collaboration with the digital health technology developers community. Finally, EIT Health coordinates activities linked to education and training design and delivery to facilitate broad uptake and adoption of the EDiHTA framework, while also advising on longer-term exploitation roadmaps and opportunities for the project.
