Next week, the EDiHTA consortium will gather for the project’s first General Assembly meeting hosted by EDiHTA coordinator Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Rome, Italy. The two-day meeting will be the first opportunity for EDiHTA partners to share their progress since the official start of the project in January 2024.

Hosted at the Italian Ministry of Health, the General Assembly will commence on April 22nd with a welcome by the Italian Minister of Health, Prof. Orazio Schillaci, alongside EDiHTA PIs and coordinators Prof. Americo Cicchetti and Prof. Dario Sacchini. The afternoon will feature a series of talks and interactive activities focusing on impactful stakeholder involvement, and the challenges and opportunities of EDiHTA’s strides towards a European HTA landscape.

The second day of the meeting will feature presentations by all Work Package (WP) leaders, sharing their current progress and the next steps planned for 2024. A main goal of the meeting is to create synergies and cross-disciplinary understanding to facilitate the close collaboration needed for the successful implementation of EDiHTA, paving the way for the next 4 years in the project.
