The first European Digital Health Technology Assessment framework co-created by all stakeholders in the European Health Ecosystem
Health systems worldwide are under constant pressure to provide high-quality services. Digital health technologies (DHTs) can be game-changers in improving the quality of healthcare services, but existing Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methodologies are unable to capture the real added value of DHTs.
EDiHTA will be the first flexible, inclusive, validated and ready-for-use European HTA framework allowing the assessment of different DHTs (e.g. telemedicine, mApps, AI) at different Technology Readiness Levels, territorial levels (national, regional and local) and perspectives (e.g. payer, society, hospital).
The EDiHTA project is pleased to spotlight its involvement in another insightful session at the HTAi 2025 Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires, focusing on the practicalities of evaluating digital health innovations in hospital environments.

As EDiHTA gears up for the 2025 Health Technology Assessment international (HTAi) Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires, we are proud to highlight two important contributions to the conference programme, each tackling key aspects of digital health technology (DHT) evaluation.
We are pleased to share that the EDiHTA project will be presented at the ESIP Medical Devices Working Group Meeting, taking place on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 in Helsinki, Finland.
We are pleased to announce that the EDiHTA project will be featured at the upcoming Health Technology Assessment international (HTAi) Annual Meeting 2025, to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As part of the pre-conference programme, EDiHTA partner Rossella Di Bidino will lead a dedicated workshop focused on digital health evaluation: Building Evidence for the Evaluation of Digital Health Technologies.
At the upcoming Vitalis Conference 2025 in Gothenburg, our partner Kassaye Yitbarek Yigzaw, PhD, Senior Researcher at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, will speak at a dedicated workshop on the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
