SUMMARY:EDiHTA partners meet in Oslo for the 6th General Assembly - Copy
DESCRIPTION:Just ahead of the EDiHTA General Assembly in Oslo\, the EDiHTA project will host an Executive event on the implementation and uptake of the EDiHTA product within the Norwegian health system on 21 September 2026 at DNV Headquarters in Oslo.\n\nThe workshop will bring together 35 key actors from across the Norwegian digital health and HTA ecosystem\, representing different responsibilities and decision-making perspectives: the Norwegian Directorate of Health\, Norwegian Medical Products Agency (NOMA)\, Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH/FHI)\, hospitals and healthcare providers\, regional and local health authorities\, digital health research organisations\, and Healthtech Norway representing the health technology and innovation ecosystem.\nThis diversity of perspectives is central to the exercise. Digital health technologies move across multiple levels of the health system — from development and evidence generation to assessment\, adoption\, implementation and use — and their evaluation therefore requires the involvement of actors with different mandates and responsibilities.\n\nThe objective is to develop a first blueprint for the implementation and exploitation of EDiHTA in Norway\, focusing primarily on how EDiHTA can complement and strengthen existing structures rather than requiring the health system to adapt around the framework.\nImportantly\, Norway will also serve as a pilot environment for this exploitation approach. The methodology and lessons generated through the workshop will help EDiHTA explore how similar national implementation blueprints could subsequently be developed across other countries in the European HTA ecosystem.\nThis represents an important next step for EDiHTA: moving from co-creating a European framework for the assessment of digital health technologies to understanding how that framework can create value in real health systems.\n\nLocation: Oslo\, Norway\nDate:  21 September 2026

SUMMARY:EDiHTA partners meet in Oslo for the 6th General Assembly
DESCRIPTION:On 22–23 September 2026\, EDiHTA partners will meet at the DNV headquarters in Høvik\, Oslo\, for the project’s 6th General Assembly\, hosted by DNV and the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research. \nOver the two-day meeting\, the consortium will review progress and coordinate the next phase of work. The agenda includes the continued digitalisation and piloting of the EDiHTA platform and toolkit\, educational activities\, sustainability and governance\, as well as exploitation and the roadmap towards future implementation. Partners will also discuss additional toolkit features\, including the open-access repository\, regulatory and evidence-generation tools\, patient-related aspects and the project’s go-to-market strategy. \nThe General Assembly will provide an important opportunity to align across the consortium\, connect the different strands of work and prepare for the next stage of EDiHTA’s development.
